The College of Law at the University of Karbala held a scientific symposium on human rights violations in Iraq – the right to reputation. The symposium was presented by Professor Bushra Majeed and Professor Hind Saleh.
The symposium included an introduction to the concept of good reputation as a fundamental human right. It also discussed the reasons for its violation and its impact on individuals and society. It also highlighted the legal frameworks that protect this right, and reviewed the challenges facing the enforcement of relevant laws in Iraq.
The symposium aimed to educate students about mechanisms for protecting good reputation and highlight the importance of activating legal guarantees that limit the violation of this right.
